Polar Orbital Accepted into the ESA BIC Finland incubation programme

We are thrilled to announce that Polar Orbital has joined the ESA BIC Finland community in January 2026.

The one-year project involves the integration of the rapidly deployable satellite ground station system, as well as commercial and operational demonstrations with Earth observation partners from Finland.

Polar Orbital is participating in the ESA Business Incubation Centre Finland.

We’re excited to announce that NEXTGEN-GS by Polar Orbital has been selected as a winner of the 2024 CASSINI Challenges Prototype Track!

Our EUSpace-powered satellite ground station prototype focuses on agile deployability, creating an innovative solution that supports the growing needs for secure and independent European space infrastructure. This award serves as a validation of our prototype’s potential, whilst enhancing European strategic autonomy in the space domain.

2025 NEXUS Demo Day

On June 10th, 2025, graduates of the University of Helsinki Incubators’ NEXUS program, which focuses on Deep Tech and AI, came together to celebrate their achievements. After several months of intensive mentorship, validation, and networking, the program wrapped up with a final event where just seven standout teams were selected to pitch their ventures on stage.

We at Polar Orbital were proud to be among those seven teams. Taking the stage to share our progress was a meaningful milestone, and the event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with investors and the broader startup community as we close this chapter and look ahead to what’s next.
